2016 at Barcelona with Elyse and Adam 2/12/2024. Soft light. $49 v. $20 retail. Galicia recommendation — 2 months ago
Dark ruby hue. Aromas of cassis, cherry, earthy, leather, licorice, plum, smoke, tar, violet. Full bodied with full tannins and high acidity. Soft tannins. A little hot at the outset and needs time to open up. But otherwise beautiful and expressive. A definitive pairing with red meat. 100% Tempranillo. — 17 days ago
Good! Nice Spanish Kurt wine. Would get again or even try more expensive one. — 2 months ago

A lot of body and texture, with smooth tannin and not too dry — a month ago
At Sailor. Very funky, farmy, mineral, but on the lighter end of medium. Bramble with mushrooms and volcanic soil. Prune, red fruit, some anise. 02/21/24 — 2 months ago

This is the third (and last) bottle of 1969 we’ve tried in the past 5 years, and the first starting to show some clear decline, with a green asparagus note that shows on the palate and into the medium-long finish, but still, 55-year-old Ramisco?!?! Wow! — 16 days ago
