Would buy again, $20 napa cab from smyrna beverage warehouse. Dark notes with medium tannins, mod dryness — 2 years ago
Dark purple with color to the rim. Big nose of plum and elderberry compote in an oak bowl. Echoed on the full-bodied palate supported by juicy medium acidity and non-threatening medium minus tannins. Surprisingly smooth despite the 15.2% alcohol. Probably the best thing Prisoner Wine Company makes. A burly California style Merlot with enough finesse for fine meals but still sippable (over time… again 15.2% 😏) enough for casual wine and cheese evenings. Drink now through 2028, but don't expect much development. — 4 months ago
Best Merlot I’ve had… slightly sweet but so smooth and good. — 5 months ago
Very good. Especially for the price! ~$10 — a year ago
The surprisingly elegant 2020 Shotfire Quartage is a red blend that delivers ample layers of black cherry and dried herbs with graphite and spice touches. Good composure is on show in a fleshy mid-weight style, providing a rich blackberry flavor core with chewy tannins to finish. $25.00 (Angus Hughson, Vinous, December 2023) — 5 months ago

Quite a value from Barossa. Slightly tired but still kicking. — 2 months ago
