The Wine Hand

Cigar Box

Old Vine Hand Harvested Pinot Noir 2020

Clear, medium ruby in color with a garnet rim; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cherries, hibiscus, and wood smoke; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of raspberries, dried leaves, and cranberries with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 3 months ago

At 17yrs, it still needs time. Bourbon black cherry, espresso and bitter dark chocolate with layers that are still evolving. — 8 months ago

Sleight Of Hand Cellars

The Archimage Columbia Valley Red Bordeaux Blend 2012

Cab Franc 49%, Merlot 48%, Cabernet 3%. Good blend. I have been consistently impressed by this producer and how the wines age. This is tasting at the right moment. Baked blackberry, black pepper, sour cherry. It’s good, but drink now. — 4 months ago

Hand Made Langhorne Creek Shiraz 2017

Very nice nose, deep flavours of chocolate and a little bit of raspberry go well together.
This is a big flavoured wine with both the acid and tannin to let it last much longer, and thus will cellar for more years.
