Dark inky in color with a short purple rim.

Strong nose of black currants, black plums, cooked figs, oak, licorice, vanilla, cloves, earth, coffee, dark chocolates, Light alcohol and peppercorn.

Full-bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and very fruity on the palate with black plums, cooked cherries, black currants, blackberries, vanilla, sweet oak, spices, chocolates, peppercorn, dark coffee, tobacco and earth.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This Australian Shiraz surprised me. Drinking very nicely now as a three year old, with nice balance and nice complexity. Spicy with lots of chocolate and coffee notes. Very yummy.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (30 minutes), and shows some tannins.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Inky in color with a short reddish rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, sweet cherries, black currants, oak, licorice, vanilla, spices, pencil lead, barnyard, earth, bitter vegetables and black pepper.

Medium bodied and smooth with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, cloves, tobacco, coffee, dark chocolates, herbs, spices, peppercorn and leather.

Medium plus in finish with soft tannins and spices.

This is a simple Australian Shiraz. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. A surprisingly gentle mouthfeel with lots of black fruits and easy drinking.

Good right out of the bottle. Might be better in a couple of hours, but the bottle finished way too quickly, so I can't really tell... 😃

I paired it with a gorgeous sunset and light appetizers.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, light cloves, herbs, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, vegetables, green herbs, mint and black pepper.

Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins and dark chocolates.

This is a very enjoyable Shiraz from South Australia. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel.

A little stinky right out of the bottle, which goes away after about an hour of airtime.

This Australian Shiraz is peaking now and is better than their Italian Primitivo. Easy drinking and spicy, with high alcohol, which is not apparent on the palate, so watch out...

Surprisingly enough, this wine is made by the same owner and vintner that makes the very famous cult wine, Hundred Acre.

100% Shiraz grapes aged in French oak barrels.

Not bad, but you can do better for $10. Decent flavor; too sedimentary.

Soft and warm, spicy yet tart undertones. Very smooth as pleasant to drink by itself.

Blackberry, plum, cherries and spice. Dark red/purple-ish color. Notes of tobacco as it opened.

Dark as blackberry/elderberry syrup. Smells kinda wine-y. Fruit juice of the bramble variety and vanilla cake. Flavor is very rich. Syrup again comes to mind. Really too much of a good thing. Classic ‘fruit bomb’. Makes a good glaze for grilled peaches. But not very drinkable. Unless you like em sweeet, riiich, and over baked.
