Deep, wooden cherry notes flourish both before and after the first taste. The flavor is sophisticated, yet simple. Nothing of note to end, but nothing negative to say about the beginning and middle. A very solid experience. — 4 years ago
Very delicious smell. Deep tannins, dark berries, and vibrant yet rich. — 4 years ago
Really enjoyed the fruit, acid and tannins all working well together in this wine. $50 is a little high price point… I try to stay away from new world cab, but finding good producers like this is fun. — 3 years ago
The Clos Pegase label features Pegasus, painted circa 1890 by the French artist Redon. Pale lemon with aromas of fresh fruit and floral scents. On the palate apple and melon flavors, creamy with pronounced oak and citrus notes. Medium finish, good balance ending with fruit and oak character. Still tasting well. Good value! We just tasted beside a Stags Leap, Pegase won, and it’s $5 cheaper!! Nice!! — 4 years ago

I really like this one. I am getting strong flavors of both raspberry and black current. Not super oaky but it is earthy. It feels thick and smooth as well. — a year ago
