East Ridge Pinot Noir 2017

Bright and young. Showing a touch of funk and underripe red fruits. Smells like it grew up mostly below the fog line, clinging to the coastal cliff. — a month ago

Above The Fog Pine Mountain Cloverdale Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

2017 heavy and rich. Some berry and dark chocolate flavorings but not sweet. Pairs well with homemade pasta and marinara sauce — 2 months ago

Banyuls Rimage Grenache Blend 2011

Vintage Vin Doux Naturel (fortified wine). Nose seems muted. Faint maraschino cherry among a fog cloud. Mouthfeel is rich and full @ 17%. Grape jelly, currant compote. I find VdX simple and enjoyable. — 3 months ago

Hartford Court

Fog Dance Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017

Coffee, vanilla, plums, raisins on the nose. Light to medium fruit with hints of coffee, caramel, toasted oak, and a hint of tannins. This has a nice balance of fruit, spice and tannins, but is a little light for my taste. This bottle is quite enjoyable, but Hartford has others that are better. — a month ago

Sonoma Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Fresh melon and a touch of lanolin. A little more weight and roundness than typical for a young, affordable Sauvignon Blanc like this and I’m liking it. A total knock out when paired with Cypress Grove Humbolt Fog cheese. — 2 months ago

Roth Estate

Heritage Sonoma County Red Blend

This was a super yummy red blend that paired marvelously with a variety of cheeses we had at our Christmas Day celebration including Cypress Grove”s Humbolt Fog. At a price point under $20 you can go wrong with this beauty. — 2 months ago
