An absolute delightful Nebbiolo with bright vibrant red showing through, fabulous nose, and a wide array of spice and herbs. Just coming into its best window with easily 20 more years to enjoy. Pleasant surprise of complexity and easy drinking. Begs for duck on the plate. — 5 months ago

Had a ruby color. Smelled like red berries and tasted like cherry or blackberry. — 5 months ago
Wow, it started slow, wasn’t sure which way it would go, it slowly opened up to reveal a 10/10 balance, structure, length and energy. Made me really savor the last 1/3 of the bottle! — 13 days ago

Etna: Poured into a decanter about an hour prior to service; enjoyed over the course of dinner. The 2021 pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears and some fine sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with Bing cherry, Asian five spice, porchini, oregano, crushed gravel and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. Another stunner from this incredible, own-rooted parcel in the Calderara Sottana contrada featuring vines over 140 years old. Insane. Drink now with some air and through 2041. — 24 days ago
First bottle three years ago had more energy. Went sour on day 2. — 5 months ago
Brick red w rose petal and hint of balsamic. Showing more age than I would have expected. But delicious — 5 months ago
Well this was nice. Paired well with crab and shrimp risotto and a salad. — 7 months ago
Quite deep garnet , just a hint of ruby and a wide garnet , terracotta rim. Touches of chestnut , dark fruits , earthy liquorice , dry spice and black tea . On the palate this is very classically styled , with dark liquorice tinged blackberry, raspberry , spiced black tea and menthol tinged good long length finish . Balanced acaidity and quite high , grippy tannins. With time this is beginning to show quite well , but will not doubt improve over the next 5 perhaps 10 years and last well a further 10 . Really quite classic and imposing in style , but detailed and complex. — 9 months ago

Pleasant and true to type Garnacha. Ruby red, floral, some Flintstone vitamin on the nose. Fruity and tannic.
