Más Godello, con un almuerzo de cangrejo, pulpo y verduras. Te llama la atención de inmediato y la mantiene. Un marco bastante resistente aquí con un acabado de tierra vivo. Awesome. — 3 years ago

Domaine de l'Horizon

Mar i Muntanya Syrah Grenache Noir 2019

Roussillon trip #2
Grenache/syrah blend, biodynamic. Gourmet cuvée, medium body, juicy, on the purity of the fruit.. the two grape varieties are well respected and recognizable. A little refreshed, it's a lot of fun.

Assemblage grenache syrah, biodynamique.

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing red and black fruits with light wood, spices, chocolates, herbs and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

Elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and interesting.

Still young and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, and a good food wine too.

A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot. Aged in new French oak barrels for 24 months.

14% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$45.

'Quinta da Manoella' Vinhas Velhas Red Blend 2012

Brought back from winery. Cork fell apart but no issues. Blueberry coffee nose with bursting fruit and subtle tannins and vanilla. . Great mouthful. Would rate higher if less oak taste but delicious. WS said through 2022 but not over hill. — 2 years ago

One of the rare, growingly extinct wine regions in the world-a coastal area near Lisbon, 50 acres left- that’s it. Ramisco is a red varietal, High acid, low alcohol- only older vintages released.
