We think something has changed at Montrose after the departure of Jean Bernard Delmas. Its not a bad wine by any means but the style is modern and extracted. At ten years this ie very drinkable and great quality but does not speak to its terroir as it used to. Hope its just one year… — 2 months ago
We had the 2015 Vintage on 1/3-5/25. Medium bodied. An excellent Pinot Noir. Nice mouthfeel. Black cherry blackberry and Asian spice. Really good — 5 months ago

This wine has a faint yellow tint in the glass. It gives up intense herbal aromas, very grassy. The palate has a fresh acidity and is loaded with grapefruit and gooseberry, heavy on the citrus. The grassy, herbal feel carries on in the lengthy finish. Pair it easily with any sort of seafood, especially something fried. — a month ago
