Pale gold in color; passion fruit, honeydew, and lemon on the nose; high acidity; tastes like lemongrass, white peach, and saline with a long finish. After some time in the glass, it had a jalapeño flavor that was a little less pleasant, but still good. — 11 days ago
citrusy -light wine :) — 12 days ago
Rich and mouth filling in the luscious Felton Road style. Only 20% whole bunch letting the quality of the ripe fruit speak. Intense red and black fruits - raspberry to the fore. This is just a “village “ wine in comparison to their illustrious Block 3 and Block 5 but it more than holds its own. Impossible not to enjoy this wine. — a month ago
Dry & tart with notes of lime & grapefruit. Great value for the price. Love!! — 9 hours ago
Good wine, Zyns-a-nator said it’s about as good as Wairau River, but just a different flavor overall that she prefers less. — 17 days ago
Deep cherry red with violet. Vanilla, plum, pepper. Blueberry. Earthy. Spicy. Dry. Relatively gentle tannin. Fruity. Smooth later. 20 @1490, My9, 250520-250521 — 21 days ago
At 10-years, a beautiful experience…deep, dark pour with no signs of bricking…dark fruit (more purple and black) aromatics that just keep on developing…palate mirrors aromatics with strong fruit profile…pleasing texture/mouth feel…medium finish…hard to say how much longer one should hold…tonight, it was in the right place for our dinner — a month ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Light lemon color with aromas of citrus and tropical fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of grapefruit, green apple and pear fruit flavors, some grassy tones, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, herbal, floral, grassy and mineral notes. Lightly chill so you can experience all of the nuances while you sip this fine wine. Nice, consistent. — 19 days ago
