Incredible “desert” wine - sweet and full- bodied, but not too heavy. Pairs nicely with a tart or citrus-based desert. — 3 years ago
Incredible aromatic profile, texture, and long finish. Have tried the 2015 as well, which I felt was only slightly better because it had a freshness and higher acidity that this one lacks, but only a little. Overall, still one of the greatest desert wines I have tried. I can imagine this being incredible with foie gras all the way to a strawberry pana cotta.
Also, this stuff keeps really well. Left a bottle that was 3/4 empty in the fridge and forgot about it. Found it 3 months later, still delicious. — 5 years ago

Dark ruby/black color with purple highlights. Aromas of ripe blueberries, dark plum, black raspberry, coffee and mint. The palate is fruit forward (but not over the top) featuring blackberry and ripe strawberry jam and a hint of sour cranberry, pomegranate and bittersweet chocolate. Light touch of oak on the medium-plus finish. Balanced acidity. Ripe tannins and nicely developed for such a young (just a baby) wine. — 3 months ago
