Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011

Aged to perfection. The 2011 vintage got a lot of slack from the critics but I think this is a really beautiful noir drop tonight! 😍 Sous bois, raspberry coulis, it's got the requisite tannins but not amplified. — 5 days ago

Here’s a tip to see your bottle & others pop up. I’ve been experimenting all week and this works.
Unfollow someone near the last bottle you see posted, scroll around a bit and then it refreshes and new posts show up. Then follow that person back if you want. It’s worked everytime for me and I just gave the tip off to a somm up north and it worked for him as well.

I'll have to try this to see if it works for this quirky app. I'll also use the tip you revealed for purchasing orchids in a store. Buds not blooms are what I need! Merci beaucoup monsieur Paul!

Well not all buds, typically we look for 60- 75 % blooms open then those last few at the top still buds.

Vigneto Sant'Eusanio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2011

This is not brilliant wine but definitely easy to drink for $15. A weakness for Montepulciano D'Abruzzo allows me to cut it some slack. Red cherry, some spice and good acidity would lend this wine to an easy pizza or basic pasta night. Should improve in the bottle over the next 5 years.

Needs time to open up, but then is great soft and savory Semillon. Where the acidity falls off a bit, the texture picks up the slack. Honeyed ginger citrus tea. Please and thank you. — 9 years ago

Estate Vineyards Les Pavots Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2008

08’ Peter Michael Les Pavots. Very few wines that have elegance & power. Silky textures that caress the palate. No holes or slack in this. Drinking very close to a pop & pour . Don’t think you can go wrong with anything they have made in the last 15 years. Pure enjoyment! It’s a coin flip between the 2008 & 2009 at this particular point. I’m so surprised this wine isn’t year after year a top 💯 wine. Drinking now. Edit - 2009 - One of the best California blends from that vintage! — 8 years ago

@Scott Rose Enjoy the chards with some age on them. Had the 06’ recently of L’ esprit de Pavots... wasn’t a fan.

Agree with Scott. Once you’ve had this it’s hard to drink L’esprit.

I’m not so much disagreeing. The entire collection is good.

Tekirdağ Sauvignon Blanc 2013

I've been a bit slack with Delectable this holiday but this is one of the best Sauvignon Blancs I've ever tasted. I'm not usually a big lover of the variety but it's good to see the Turks taking on the Kiwis at their own game! — 11 years ago
