It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
This is a very controversial wine in the wine world. Some love it, yet some really hate it. I can understand both sides.
Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim. Not showing age at all.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity.
Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, tobacco, light vinaigrette, earth, chocolates, peppercorn, coffee and mocha.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This is a great Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley.
Tasty and delicious with a strong nose. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.
I had this vintage 7 years ago, and liked it just as much. This time
I had it blind, so it is what it is.

Very nice, simple and tasty, complex as it warms. Marley would have liked it very much, so it was perfect for sipping during Christmas Eve cooking — 5 months ago
It time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday. Let's bring Merlot back!
Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with with nice complexity.
Showing plums, sour cherries, raspberries, light oak, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, tobacco, herbs and peppercorn.
Short finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very nice Merlot from Washington State. Easy drinking and still tasty. Probably on its last leg, so drink up if you have any.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself or with food.
A nice sipping wine. I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Looking for another Pinot Grigio and saw this with a great rating. Opened 2020 for sipping with friends in Texas and everyone complimented the wine. It is crisp, refreshing and aroma that suggests peach and melon with touch of honeysuckle as noted elsewhere. It will be a part of my collection for daily enjoyment! By the way, went well with grilled portobello and cheese sandwich. — 3 years ago
Fit very well with s salmon dinner. Also a fine sipping wine later in the evening. — 9 months ago
Much better than the 2019. Definitely a pleasant wine. Even for sipping. — 10 months ago
On the nose, lemon, wet stones, and a floral character are present first. Drinks with that classic chablis chalky minerality. As the wine opens up, there are notes of honey, apple, peach, and a distinct ocean minerality. Finish is a nice lingering touch of sweet and salty lemon. Hard not to keep sipping on this. — 2 years ago
This 4 year old Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon is always tasty.
Easy drinking, bold and fruit forward with black fruits and chocolate notes.
Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
A great wine to finish the evening with.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.

This one grows on you. White peach, light apple with a touch of citrus aromas. Minerals and medium acidity flavors. Goes well with food and sipping on its by itself. — a month ago
