Chateau Ste. Michelle
Indian Wells Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This 4 year old Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon is always tasty.
Easy drinking, bold and fruit forward with black fruits and chocolate notes.
Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
A great wine to finish the evening with.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
91 points.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State.
Full bodied with nice restraint.
Still shows some alcohol, which will probably go away in a year or two.
Dry on the palate with blackberries black currants cooked cherries cedar leather earth vanilla chocolate notes and peppercorn.
Very enjoyable by itself.
Nice finish with firm tannins.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (30 minutes).
Will be good in the next 5 years.

Slightly bitter for my taste. The black cherry and blackberry notes are almost too much. Like a soda with too much syrup.

Nov 27th, 2022Deep purple in color. Plum, blackberry, cedar, baking spice, graphite, sour cherry, and medicinal licorice. Dark fruit, cinnamon, and oak on the palate. Moderate acidity and nice chocolatey tannins. A flash of vanilla followed by lingering cacao on the finish.

Jan 8th, 2021Fruity, not too heavy. Had after a Musar. So need to taste again standalone.

Oct 2nd, 2020Pleasantly surprised with this cab. Nice chalky tannins dusted w/ cocoa wrap in dried currents. Makes me more into Washington Reds as the price on this makes it easy to appreciate. Cheers
