A good blend of citrus and under ripe stone fruit flavours. Made for early consumption. Made by a newer and emerging producer in the Great Southern vineyard producing District of Western Australia. We visited the cellar door a few years ago - South African owners I believe. — a year ago

I don't drink enough Cabernet/Merlot from WA. They are generally solid and this is no exception. Black currant, blackberry, a little violet, cigar box and dried herbs. Powdery tannin and refreshing acidity. It may not be unique but it has everything you want in Cabernet blend. — 7 years ago
This CdP tribute (55% Mataro, 40% Shiraz, 5% Grenache) to Pope Clement V is simply lovely, rich, youthful darkfruits and a solid structure that suggests 5-7 years of cellaring is in order, medium-long, lingering finish, very fine GSM blend!!
As an aside, we were lucky enough to make it to singlefile Wines this afternoon and taste the full range being poured, the 2022 Family Reserve Chardonnay (the wine they’re known for) was outstanding, as was their 2022 Frankland River Cabernet Sauvignon, and pricing was VERY reasonable — only problem is that don’t export to the U.S. — Oh well. . . . — 5 months ago
Wonderful cool climate Shiraz — 5 years ago
Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a WA specialty. Pale lemon in colour. Passionfruit aromas from the SB with some wet straw from the Semillon. Dangerously drinkable. A drink now quality quaffer. — 7 years ago

Lovely cool climate Chardonnay, deft touch of oak, some burnt match, nice texture and balance, not too ripe, very good!! — 2 months ago
