Very smooth flavorful Pinot noir. Good vanilla notes. Great inexpensive table wine. — 3 years ago
Very nice surprise for me given my expectations were low for this generic high priced Burgundy. But we were aurprised by the generius red fruit, cherries, nice depth and volume, good acidity and silky tannins with a decent finish in terms of length and flavor. Well balanced and even if the price tag is high, there was some wine in there. Gorgeous. Our son’s dog named “Pinot, (yeah we are passionate about anything that is Pinot) seems to appreciate also.

Fairly simple and straightforward, I wish this wine was more gutsy than just appealing to taste soft and more fruity. Shows hints of what could be though so it is true to Syrah character. — 7 months ago
Some chalky notes before a masterclass of a nose with lemon, honey, white flowers, fresh white muscat grapes too. The palate is outstanding... There is, as expected, a massive acid drive but it's challenged by lemony, even zesty notes all along, a good width and some matter, a great, vivid mouthfeel with a zing, and long, very long finish with zesty notes and some chalky touches. This is a great, yet simple chenin. I could make it my casual white 😊 — 2 years ago
— 8 months ago

2019 vintage. It seems that you cannot go wrong with Cantemerle. This second wine is a delicious, simple and mature Haut-Médoc. Terrific value. Outperforms the Mauvezin Saint-Emilion grand cru 2019 tasted alongside. ABV. 13%. — 4 days ago
