Nose so good you wish your lungs had an exit so you could inhale nonstop.
Palate. Dense. Almost sticky. Unctuous. Great fruit. Sweet fruit. Almost tropical. Honey. Clings to the palate. Very well made.
At 3 hours almost like this sherry like butteriness. Not oxidized but the controlled richness. Becoming godlike epic level insane.
Nose is nutty

Good. Smooth, black cherry. Bought at Mitsukoshi for ¥5,000. — 3 years ago
What a crazy awesome bottle of wine. Amber in Color.
Nose is copper and yeast. Hint of confectionary sugar. A whole bunch of something I can’t identify.
Palate is controlled richness. Some orange peel. Maybe some sherry. Pomelo rind. Juicy.
One of the most unique sparklers I’ve ever had. This is a graduate level course.

An interesting wine. Very rich. But not in a stupid way. Nose has some lovely iodine. Palate has that lovely intense richness but also some acid and mineral in the background. Finish is nice and stings a bit from the acid mineral combo. Maybe some sherry-like notes. This has the delicious factor so I’d drink it on a regular basis (if I had the luxury of doing that) but it’s also just off the median point enough to make it a change of pace wine. very good light and flavorful lasted 6 days after opening great with chicken tacos bargain at Sherry Lehman. — 2 years ago
Nose is psychotic. This controlled richness. Almost round in a perfect sphere way. Almost a hint of sherry without the oxidative notes. Hard to describe. It’s own category.
Nose is more l33t after 45 minutes. You get this high end burgundy complexity compete / complex / craziness.
Palate is elegantly delicious. Nice minerality. Juicy. Delicious. Elegant.
More meursaulty than the 18 which was better / more interesting. Still quite amazing.
As this opens it gets more “high class”. Decant for 30 and drink over 30.
Long finish.

Crazy nose. Hints of dried apricots. Yellow flowers. Rich. Deep.
Palate is stunning. Elegantly rich. Dried apricots. Mineral. Saturating. Salty a bit. Silky. Hints of honey. Some glycerol.
Long finish.
Really a unique wine. Almost hints of very good sherry notes but in a good way.
This is a wine you want a case of in the cellar.
