Crowd pleaser.
Finally at a resto in Cabos with a deep wine list. This was what we could afford. Mx is nosebleed central!

NSO Wines California Red Wine 2017, California
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blueberries, sweet cherries, wood, chocolates, tobacco, light alcohol, mocha, leather, spices and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with black currants, black cherries, blueberries, wood, vanilla, licorice, light vegetables, spices, chocolates, tobacco, cola, coffee and peppercorn.
Medium finish with fine tannins and raspberries.
This is a very enjoyable wine from California. Simple and tasty. Easy drinking with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and good for parties. The tangy finish makes it interesting. Has a screw top which is very convenient to take to a picnic.
This is actually 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This Single Vineyard is a good quality Cab.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Clean and fruitful in the nose. Its aromas remind of plums and quince, with a little touch of oak. Rich and long finish with smoky accents of vanilla and lingering oak. — 8 years ago
Chablis. Pretty good. Lime, salty, good weight. Some tannins. This will age! 13%. At Wormwood in Northpark/San Diego. The new general manager from Paris who has been there a year is good! Lucas. — a year ago

Big very big 15%. Good Atkins has it 96 points. A ton of sour cherry! In a cab. Blackberry, Tealeaves, very sophisticated tannins. Refined. Not my style but excellent. — 2 years ago
Really tasty cabernet with flavors tending toward dark fruit — 2 years ago
Muted, understated nose of nectarines and pears, with a hint of caramel (which we suspect is age related).
Palate has the signature Bacigalupi presentation. Multi-layered with bright peach and fire-roasted fruits. Medium density and moderate sweetness make this a wonderful white burg clone.
Celebrating my soulmate’s birthday 🥳

Found this 13 for $75.00, definitely closed down on P&P needs a couple more years at least not to mention a big decant. Probably the tightest one I’ve had.About as good as it gets for me with Merlot. Smooth with great body. — 6 years ago
Deep berry flavors, finish just a bit herbal. It’s slightly sour in a good way, not acidic, fairly strong tannins. It tastes like what I thought wine would taste like as a little kid, in a good way. — 7 years ago
