Decanted for 1 hour prior to drinking. Begins with a fairly hot nose of cedar and dark fruit and transitions into a powerfully juicy palate of blackberry, leather, clove and bell pepper. A superb expression of Canadian Cab Franc. Paired with a 20 day aged striploin with tarragon-sauce and both golden and red beets as well as Scarlett runner beans we grew in our garden. 👌🏻 🍷 — 6 years ago

This becklyn is tasting the best right now. Soft, rich fruit, chocolate. Delicious. The quivet, despite being the least fruit forward of the 4, is also hitting the spot. It’s a good wine to open when you are sharing with people that have a more classic cab taste. The myriad napa is the most tannic of the 4, but it is dark and jam packed with power. It’ll be phenomenal with some air or age. Probably the most potential. The scarlett is the reddest fruit of the 4. Like the myriad, I think it will really shine with some air/age. Dense, extracted nose of cassis and burnt toast. Mid palate is pure and viscous with blueberry jam and brown sugar notes. Squeaky clean and burly tannins interplay with bright acidity. This still has 10 years + in the tank! Excellent example from an outstanding producer. — 6 months ago
