The sweet herbs and spices reappear on the persistent finish. Crisp and bright with refreshing acidity. Vibrant bubbles and a nice foamy mousse. 6% ABV and not overly sweet. This 2010 is gorgeous, more Burgundian than new world, but distinctly Italian all the same. The fruit component is dried cherry with hints of fresh herbs and tea leaf. Good value. — 12 years ago
