Bottega

Rosé Gold Brut Pinot Nero

2: At first sip, the rose bottega is light and airy with a touch of sweetness. It slowly turns into a more superb bitter yet slight heavy swallow. — 12 days ago

Costa Bassa Valetellina Superiore Nebbiolo 2019

Took awhile for this to open up, but after a hour the nose showed new leather, sandstoney gravel, a bit of spice, and slightly dried cherry fruit. Lean and structured in the mouth, this seems like it will benefit from a few more years of aging. Certainly enjoyable now, though. — 6 months ago

This wine made from the Nosiola grape was a pleasant surprise and a delightful wine This 2016 vintage was drank in June 2024 at 8 years was nicely balanced between dry and sweet. It was crisp with a lingering taste of stone fruit. Look forward to tasting this wine again. — 6 months ago

Téi Rosso di Valtellina Nebbiolo 2022

Bright acidity (med-high), some deep red and purple fruit notes, cassis/currant. Aromatic and medium tannins, smooth yet slightly grippy. Not the longest finish and body is quite light. Almost floral. Drinks like an excited young kid version of a barolo, like an even lighter babaresco. — 6 months ago

Love Sandro Fay! Have some older bottling from when I visited the winery a number of years ago - maybe next time I see you we can enjoy one!

Oh man I didn't realize people comment on things here! I hadn't had this style of nebbiolo (valtellinas) till I went to Italy recently and I really do enjoy it! Such a world of difference from the typical Piedmont nebbiolo!
