Really chewy and full - berry forward with spice — 5 years ago
Young winemakers making serious noise in the area. I’m following. There’s some funk that blows off quickly and underneath is a chunky, complex and chiseled expression. The terroir really comes through on the edges, slate and mineral. Crushed red fruit and herbs on the mid palate. Could use some time. Very interesting and provocative. Falls somewhere in between old school rusticity and the energy you find in good examples of new school minimalist winemaking. — 6 years ago
A nice fruity red wine that pairs well with stuffed cabbage rolls and even cheesecake — 4 years ago
Very intense flavor. Really great with quail. I highly recommend. Wish I had more! — 5 years ago

Prieure Saint-Hippolyte - Languedoc - Blanc
50% Grenache Blanc, 25% Viognier, 25% Vermentino
Nice fresh fruit, dry, Peach, pear, floral, wax, stones.
Not the biggest, baddest, longest aging wine ever, but... a very well made Languedoc Blanc to be enjoyed now, under $15.
Guessing 11-12.5% ABV (label range 11-14), went nicely with an omelette dinner.

Here’s another smoking good southern french white. Very interesting blend and the first time I can remember seeing Carignan Blanc. Also Roussanne Grenache Blanc and Vermentino. Sulfur needs to blow off. So beautifully textured and detailed. Glides across the palate. Green apple, citrus, almond, custard/fondant/banana on the palate and a floral, carnation (?) finish. Seductive. This would be so fun to throw into a blind tasting. Love. — 6 years ago

A really nice bottle. Full body white - granche Blanc gives it a nice robust mouth feel and flavour. — 3 years ago
