Nice Millesimato. I had it with Amel, mom and dad and Yafei and Mr Rogers. I paired it with uova al verde — 3 years ago
Yum. Buy this again. (Napa Kitchen + Bar, $54) — 4 years ago
Nose has bright red cherry, ripe tart cherry, tree bark/vine stems, ripe plum, semi-moist soil, moist chalk and mashed black cherry.
Palate has over-ripe cherry, dried tart cherry, dried cranberry, smoked anise, moss, dried blackberry, bright acidity, beautifully earthy textures and slightly drying finish. Delicious.
An interesting tasting experience, Meursault is only planted to about 4-5% Pinot Noir, so finding one is a challenge to say the least.
Decanted 3 hours, still needs more time in bottle and decanter. I'd love to see this in 5-6 years, unfortunately our only bottle.

Black fruit, dried beef and black olive brine. — 3 years ago
Never tried this, and wifey recoiled after her first sip, as did I. Nose displays beeswax and spring notes. Palate is oily and viscous, with minimal acidity. Huge dollop of oak complement big layers and complexity. Overtones of maple syrup combine with a quite pronounced oak treatment. I consider this quite unusual and quirky, in a very good way. Excellent example of chard. 94 pts, easily... — 6 years ago
Won’t you be my neighbor? ~ Mr. Rogers
The 2021 My Favorite Neighbor Blanc is a Paso Robles Chardonnay produced by Eric Jensen. This wine is delicious. Lively nose, racy acidity, layered complexity, and balance are just a few good descriptors for this wine. I would like to see how this wine evolves with a couple years of bottle age. It would be smart to add this to your list.
This wine falls in the “I’m glad I grabbed a few of these” category.

Nose has beautiful saline mousse of lemon curd, slightly oxidized tart green apple peel, freshly baked sourdough bread and cold limestone slab.
Palate has day old bread, dried-shaved ginger, dried lemon pith, squeeze of lemon juice, touch of sweet caramel notes with great acidity, and forever finish. Opulent!
Wow, just wow, enthralled by the aromas coming out of the Gabriel Glas! The palate is just dancing like a Ginger Rogers, matching Fred Astaire doing everything ‘backwards and in high heels’. Hands down the finest version of this California sparkling wine ever passing my lips.
As this warms in the glass it's just even more amazing, moving from 9.4 to 9.5! — 6 years ago
