Excellent-especially for the price! — 5 years ago
I never would have tried this without this board. It's got the nose/aroma of a SB but is cloudy, viscous and rich. Last Friday of Lent so had it with Ridgeback shrimp and Manila clams. Although not as crisp and austere as a typical SB it was delightful. — 7 years ago
2014 vintage. A Bordeaux blend with 37% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Cabernet Franc and 12% Petit Verdot. Showing well at 10 years old. Solid dark red colour, slightly orange at the rim.Black fruit and spices. Slightly jammy fruit, but with good balancing acidity and ripe tannin. Good spicy length. — 10 months ago
Wow, such structure, very tight, great depth of flavour — 5 years ago
Strong primary flavor of cherries with subtle secondary flavors of mint and leather. — 6 years ago
2015 vintage. Holding back and initially a bit severe. Better the next day (decanting recommended) when it displayed Pauillac-like cassis and lead pencil. Black fruits, rather high acidity and good mineral length. I suspect this will benefit from further ageing. Abv. 14%. — 3 years ago
To quote martine "meh. It is not St. Chamant.". Still ok, i mean its not agent orange. A touch cheese rindy, but without a Ridgeback to eat cheese rind.. fine bubble and mousse. Unsure I'd pay for it, because St. chamant. But still — 7 years ago
