Les Dijonnais Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir 2014

Some sediment. Good legs. Lovely color fruitful with some acidity. Not much body - a little thin. It does open up well. — 2 days ago

Ridgecrest Vineyards Pinot Noir

Beautiful 20 year old Oregon Pinot. Opened, re-corked, then enjoyed an hour later over the next 6 hours. Slightly clunky at first but expressed good integration after the first hour. Evolved gradually and subtly. Dried strawberries gave way to raspberry preserves and then sour cherry. Medicinal and sage notes gave way to lavender and rose then cigar/cigar box then smoky bacon and finally black tea. No real awkward phases. Likely drinking at or near peak now. — 5 months ago
