2009. Pear drops, wonderful aroma and a well balanced smooth fruit and finish.
I tried the 2009 two years ago but in retrospect too early.
I will wait another couple of years to open the last two bottles. — 4 years ago
Very noce CO PN. Brick brown red colour yet strawberries in nose. Fruity, very fresh taste still w a little lemon beside the red berries. Good, wonder how it evolves further. — 4 years ago
Very dense maroon in colour for a CdR, but it is from the warm 2016 vintage. Ripe red and blue fruits with a feral barnyard type note - not Brett as yet. Very youthful for a CdR - totally different to a Guigal CdR which is less concentrated and is approachable immediately. This is medium to full bodied with black cherry and earthy notes - medium plus intensity. In retrospect I opened this too young. This was the first of 3 - next in a few years. — 3 years ago
Surprisingly, this one was not as big as the Futo. I am a big fan of anything from Prichard Hill and was intrigued seeing this one on the list. Gave it an hour to open up and had a fantastic ribeye to pair it with! In retrospect, I think I would have flipped the sequence. (All bullshit aside on sequencing, this is still an amazing wine and I am just being anal).. The color was still a nice deep violet with strong dark fruits. Great pedigree with Helen Turley on the planting and David Abreu on the vineyard management. What could ever go wrong? — 6 years ago
Round four of blind tasting. Somehow, we all completely whiffed on this but in retrospect it was so obvious. Quintessential Nebbiolo. Pale ruby color heavily featuring raspberry, cranberry, and red cherry notes. Quite tart but all ripe. There’s a stemmy-like green component that really stands out too. New leather, tar, and a dash of balsamic complete the profile. Almost no tannins but rather high acidity. How we all missed this will remain a mystery. — 2 years ago
Light yellow golden color and white stone fruits with hints of oil and salinity carrying through to acidic biting palate with lively if not elegant texture and good length. Surprised to see on back label as 100% Chardonnay which in retrospect makes sense. Excellent. Checked list, was GL 2010 13.6 value, only two bottles with one gone to Maria/Ali so no more! Also two of same from Haute Vallee instead of Oceanique which hopefully still in stash. Made exactly the same way but from district vineyard terroir. Too bad can’t make direct comparison. — 4 years ago

Rough notes written in retrospect (and not my photo), but this wine never fails to deliver and this 2015, my second time tasting this vintage, was no different. Supremely suave, polished, glossy fruit meets wet stone, with ample tannins and a gloriously long finish. I can’t wait to drink this again – though I’m excited to try the 2017 before then. — 4 months ago
