12/2020. 2020 Best vineyard by WE. Good full body Pinot. Nice on the palate. Paired well with the Tagliatelle con Tartufo from Bull and Bagger in Asheville NC. — 6 years ago
Berry taste but not tart. Very light acidity with an exceptional finish. Delicious wine! — 6 years ago
Named for Lancelot! And frankly...the acidic tannic, and alcoholic strength of this make me feel it has the capacity to rescue moi from this recent bull we call life. Oh tasting? It’s medium plus on acid tannins alcohol and also fun. You get prunes. You get black cherries. You get balsamic vinegar but it’s not too...serious. It enlivens and awakens to what a good Lambrusco can be and so help me wine...this is a good Lambrusco. — 6 years ago

Old but good. A touch of brown creeping in, but taste has not turned. — 4 years ago
Peach cobbler, caramel-apple, baked pear tartlet, pine nettle, sweet corn, dried red cherry, cedar-on-grill, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, chilies, generous oak that includes acorns, crisp vanilla cookie make the nose. Hot initially, with oregano oil, cinnamon and tobacco. Revisit yields subtleties, including lemon oil, grapefruit pith, orange peel, arabica, eucalyptus, apricot, red chilies, Mexican cigar spices, and peppercorn dust. Cinnamon-oak builds to a crescendo of resinous might in a cloud of foundry smoke. Allspice appears with oregano following hot on its trail. Spicy and precise. #oldweller #weller #oldwellerantique #oldwellerantiqueoriginal107 #oldweller107 #weller107 #bourbon #kentuckybourbon #kentuckystraightbourbonwhiskey #genuineoldlinesourmash #oldlinesourmash #buffalotracedistillery #wheatedbourbon #kybourbon #frankfurtky #buffalotrace #antiqueseries — 6 years ago

Road trips deserve respites. Beaufort, SC’s Old Bull Tavern spinning Marvin, Jimmi, and Stevie while casually offering up perfect garlicky oil bathed snails set upon crazy freshly baked chewy sour dough simply screams for, oh yeah, the wine. This fine Pomerol waits, wanting , her dangerously dark scarlet skin shimmers as she spins in the early evening tempted by the tunes revealing her marooning shades, darker bleeding berries, showing lighter in the wafting inconsistency of candle light. Another spin , a tilt, a voyeur’s gaze, a twirl, and a first kiss’ earthy wet spice on the front succumbs to plum its well-balanced acid clutches begging another spin, The I sip slow seductive deep kiss as she floods forward - I swallow, but she clings slowly, gradually, teetering touching sliding slowly, stealthy, soothingly, seductively signaling - have another hit... Don’t miss this wine or place, both picture perfect dripping southern edge and charm with a French accent and kiss🍷🌀 — 8 years ago

Blackberry, blueberry jam with smooth subtle power and a surprisingly long finish. Wish I bought a case of this. — 6 years ago
Crazy nose on this one - very meaty and jerky-like, with hints of fresh tennis balls and the strong scent a bull elephant in musth. On the palate, light and fruity initially, finishing with that meaty, musthy flavor from the nose. Mellowed quite a bit after being open a couple of hours, into more of a traditional Beaujolais, with just a hint of pepper and that funkiness that dominated at the start. — 7 years ago
Easy to drink. Light and goes well with some meats. — 8 years ago
