California Old Vine Zinfandel. No doubt a blend from two or more counties of origin. Dark ruby red, very good clarity, high pigment extraction. Strawberry on nose, cherry and plum in mouth. 14.5% alc/vol. smooth mouthfeel initially but some skin astringency on finish. Decant. Tar and eucalyptus emerge after 30 minutes. — 21 days ago
