After 35 years I was not expecting much. Especially when the cork disintegrated on opening. Aureated on decanting and was happily surprised. After about 20 minutes opened to dark chocolate, leather but so smooth. The last glass was pure delight. Howell Mountain at its best! — 2 months ago
After 2 hours in the decanter 2015 Chaillot is showing beautifully, fully open and giving wafting distinctive Allemand aromas with a seductive, mineral inflicted palette and fine grained tannins. It shows the warmth of the vintage but not at all hot, and its liquid rock minerality and floral lift adds a seamless balance to its fruit character. This is going to keep getting better. Love these wines. — 12 days ago
Too rich for my blood, but as the name suggests, it had a lovely purity. Sweet black cherries, violets, pepper, and hints of olive tapenade. Very sweet, concentrated, and full-bodied on the palate. Was looking for more elegance. — 2 months ago
Deep garnet and syrupy in the glass. Nice grippy tannins with a long and smooth finish. Dry with a hint of dark berries. Love it. — 3 months ago

Drinking a 3L from 2013 in late ‘24. Love the big format bottles and aging potential. This could go a lot longer I think but is also fine to drink now.
Standard Caymus flavors and aromas that made the brand known. Dark inky crimson color. Blueberries and blackberry fruit mixed with vanilla alongside the tell-tale signs of wet band-aid. Great tannins, medium-to-big acidity, good long finish. Really nice. — a month ago

Pale lemon in color.
Light nose of citrus fruits, minerals and light yeast.
Medium-bodied with high acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, green apples, brioche, earth, light yeast, minerals, spices and herbs.
Long finish with limes and herbs.
This is a very tasty Champagne, albeit still young. Elegant and rich with nice complexity. Crisp and refreshing.
Didn't love it right out of the bottle, and needed 45 minutes of airtime to open up properly, so be patient.
I've had a few different vintages of this Champagne, and always enjoyed it.
Needs 5 years to mature properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.
A blend of 51% Chardonnay and 49% Pinot Noir. Aged for 8 years on its lees.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Soft fruit with some leather, dried cherry, pure plum. A slight sourness and length. Excellent, complex and full of character. — 19 hours ago
