Great summer wine. Costco sale — 5 years ago
This wine is super nice to drink for apéros : it’s light, easy to drink, smells so good! The packaging is stunning! I think it makes a good present of it. Easy to stock in a big fridge and to add more wine already refreshed when necessary because of the package 😊 — 6 years ago

50% Grenache blanc, 35% Rolle (vermentino), 15% viognier and no oak! A masterpiece of fruits and personality. — 3 years ago
Popped and poured; consumed over two days and the best was Day 2. The wine appears deep ruby with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity. Medium intensity on the nose with blue and black fruits, deli case, purple flowers, smoked meat, olive brine, black pepper and baking spice. On the pallet, the wine is dry with a mixed fruit set: ripe red, blue and black fruits in abundance with Herbes de Provence and baking spices. Long saline finish, medium+ tannin and acid. The Syrah plays a very strong role despite Grenache being the dominant variety in the blend. — 5 years ago
The clay & limestone soils of Languedoc-Roussilon develop this soft and rich blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 8% Mourvèdre, 2% Carignan. The Château Puech-Haut - Tête de Bélier red offers lots of black fruit, minerality with herbs on the finish. A nice surprise! — 6 years ago

Delicious. Light but not flavorless. Not too sweet — 8 months ago
Pairs well with Scott's bbq — 2 years ago
Beautiful full bodied wine. Not sure what this is in terms of grapes. Excellent cherry and beautiful plum. Round and low tannin. Gorgeous and beautiful ending. — 4 years ago
A Northern Rhône take on a Southern Rhône blend - less stewed fruit, more floral and herbal and nuance. Lovely. — 5 years ago
Rd. 2 - Anniversary Greek wine... instead of going to Greece. 😂 Thanks, Heather! — 6 years ago
Very California. Very can or Shiraz. Bought for $15 and would gladly spend that much for a Chilean this good. Near Nimes — 6 years ago

Hermes – Assyrtiko 2025
Peloponnese PGI – Greece 🇬🇷
Overview
A 100% Assyrtiko from the Peloponnese, showcasing a more textural and savory expression of the grape outside Santorini. The 2025 vintage leans into tension, structure, and food-driven character, with noticeable intensity and length.
Aromas & Flavors
Citrus-driven with lemon zest and subtle stone fruit, layered with mineral and lightly savory notes. Expressive, with a more pronounced intensity than expected.
Mouthfeel
Medium-bodied with firm acidity and strong tension. Textural, slightly weightier on the palate, with a long, persistent finish and a clean, dry profile.
Food Pairings
Built for food, perfect with grilled fish, shellfish, Mediterranean dishes, or anything with olive oil, herbs, and citrus. Also holds up well to richer white meat dishes.
Verdict
A serious, food-friendly Assyrtiko with structure and personality. Not a light, easy sipper, but rewarding for those who enjoy tension, minerality, and a more savory edge.
🍷 Did You Know?
Assyrtiko is one of the few white grapes that can retain high acidity even in warm climates, which is why it thrives across Greece while maintaining its signature freshness. — 2 months ago
