Deep Ruby red color with ripe red and black fruit aromas and toasty spice, 100% Tempranillo, aged for 8 months in oak. The palate shows plum and blackberry flavors with smoke, cacao and spice. Vivid acidity, firm ripe tannins, integrated lending to a medium+ finish ending with some earthy herb notes. — 3 months ago
Rose’ blend of Tempranillo (50%), Garnacha (30%), Albillo (10%) and Viura (10%). Salmon pink/light fuchsia color. Aromas of peaches, white blossoms and red berries. Flavors of red cherry, peach and tropical fruits. Medium intensity and silky/creamy texture (lees aging?). Well balanced acidity and very refreshing. As the wine took in more air, the more the Tempranillo showed through. Thanks for sharing, Kase! — a year ago
This is a great value ! Less than 15 euro in equivalent local currency. The nose is intense. There is a bit of funk, cherry, earth, leather, oak, coconut, meat juice. It's pretty intense and exciting. The palate is long, bright, broad and thick. It's not very subtle but it's very well made and quite structured and full-bodied. The mouthfeel is soft and silky at first, with cherry and savoury notes at first. There is a bit of a layer, some thick matter on the sides, and it turns into a massive wall which gives way to a strong drying layer all over the finish which is fruity, savoury, a bit bitter, drying and quite long. It's very good stuff considering the pricetag. Need to buy more. — a month ago
Ribera tipicity, with blackberries, cranberries, a hint of cream, caramel, French oak. Medium bodied, good acid, well integrated oak. Easy. — 4 months ago
Not bad at all. #riberadelduero typicity and less oak chips and oak flavors than it’s Roble brother. Very drinkable. — 2 years ago
