Loire Valley Gamay. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas and flavors of juicy cranberry, red plum, red cherry with additional notes of violets, mushrooms, earth and baking spices. Medium-minus body (based on the color you would think otherwise) and medium acidity. Extremely soft tannins and bone dry. You can smell and taste (pleasant) the carbonic Maceration. Quite interesting. Excellent with food. — 8 months ago

Same as the other. Delicious, when it’s on sale 1/2 off at Winn Dixie. — 4 years ago
Tremendous. Earthy, funky, wild mushroom, forest floor. Also nose of overripe blue fruit and vanilla due to oaking. — 5 years ago

Palate: green apple. Lovely sweet fruit. Mineral. Great acidic balance. Blind I’d say 1er cru chablis.
