Dusty Firenze cellar, the nose is unmistakable.
Hazelnut dust, pomegranate, black cherry, all held together with sharp and enjoyable Buddha palm acidity, some cigar box tannins.
The grilled pizza did not turn out so well, luckily the wine has made up for it!

We recently pulled some cases out of storage, which haven't seen the light of day for nearly 15 years, so I'll have some fun posts in the next several months.
Nose has vintage Port at ~20Y, blackberry, blackcurrant, ripe blueberry, rehydrated raisin, coffee grounds and soil from a forest fire
Palate has orange zest in blackberry jam, dried cherry compote, wet baking spice, molasses cookie, medium tannins with intense finish, can hold easily another +10Y in proper storage. Amazing bottle. — 2 months ago
