One of the wines from Le Volpe e l’uva in Firenze, this is a really nice example of a teroldego. Spice and sour cherry on the nose, the wine has a lot more fruit on the palate than I’m used to for this varietal (maybe 2013 was a warm vintage?). Terrific balance with very well-integrated, relatively sweet tannins. A wine you just keep going back to again and again. Highly recommend! — 5 months ago
