A beautiful white from the east coast of central Italy. Apple, pear, lemony and smooth. @Delectable Wine this is the Marche Passerina please update thanks! — a year ago
A well made version of vermentino.
Nose is aromatic lemon extract. Very fresh and clean. Very Italian. Some richness as it opens.
Palate is nicely mineral and balanced. Light gods lemon soda. Very sprightly on the palate. A hint of lemon pith. Richer as it opens. Great acidic balance.
Something in new wants to try this in 7 years for some reason.
Would be awesome with crudo.
It’s one of those wines that is an incredibly great version of what it’s supposed to be.

A very delicious Italian white. Much better after a long decant. @Delectable Wine this is the Marche Trebbiano thanks! — a year ago
Mid weight with some nice complexity, still tasty after 10 years in bottle — 5 years ago
You know, I have no idea what the eff this is or what in the naming is actually identifying (“isola dei nuraghi”), but this one is scintillating. At first, the entry was pleasant and red fruity and quickly went to lapsang souchong (which I hate), but the character really changed like a chameleon several times. There are candied caramelized pig fat notes, and some grippy haminess, and some mulled spice notes. This would probably be a great pizza wine. Goes well with chocolate. Eenteresting. — 4 years ago
