Amazing blend of indigenous varietals (Bogdanuša, Pošip, Maraština, Prč, Trebbiano Toscana), a truly mineral white (the white version is the marina cuvée) with an accented salinity which makes a perfect oyster companion and a great pairing with shell fish. The blend is Posip, Vuguva and a bit of Chardonnay from Dalmatia, Croatia.
Brilliant, shiny, green and gold.
Herbal, citrus and guava on the nose.
Figs, green apple and unripe Bosc pears.
Round mouth feel with medium acidity on the finish.
This is definitely a food wine.
I would grill whole Branzino or octopus.
Chicken roasted with Dijon mustard, garlic, lemon and parsley would shine with this wine. — a day ago
