Another amazing “almacenista” wine by Ramiro Ibáñez and Willy Pérez, from a small solera of 20 casks they bought from a small producer. Grapes were sourced from a small plot in the Cerro de los Cuadrados, within the Pago Balbaína Alta, located between Jerez and El Puerto de Santa María, not far from the coast (hence marked by the Atlantic influence). They selected 5 casks (with an estimated age of 15-18 years) for this bottling and left the rest to make Amontillado. Intense nose, notes of yeast, sea breeze. Elegant, concentrated, great texture. — 3 years ago

Deze wijn uit een superklein gebiedje in Galicia is echt heel top! Zachte neus rijk aroma. Geen idee wat we betaald hebben, wra rond €20-25 — 6 months ago
#tintorera #garnachatintorera high altitude limited production profound. Hints of roasted tomatoes meaty. — a year ago
I expected more. But it's very good anyway. Rather light with red fruit, tobacco and licorice. — 3 years ago

Kurt wine. Lovely. Upgraded version of a lower priced option but worth it. Would get again. Dry, earthy, balanced, dusty in a good way. — 9 hours ago
