Still showing beautifully with well defined black cherry vanilla and mocha - dead sexy and a real crowd pleaser - tannins becoming progressively tamer and kept up w/T-bone — 10 years ago

Another great vintage of a terrific wine! The 2009 has aromas and flavors of blueberry, plums, cedar, cola, vanilla, black pepper and earth. Hint of menthol. Very complex. Smooth tannins and well balanced. Both varietals are integrated beautifully! Great with a steak! Solid QPR! Revisited in February 2020. Still excellent, but probably beginning to pass it’s peak. — 7 years ago
Favorite Shiraz these days because I like some spice, like black pepper (present, but not overpowering). Nice with grilled dinner, and also Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. — 8 years ago
Classic jammy fruit up front, with spice at the back that had held up well over time. Definite hints of tobacco and eucalyptus. Still has decent life left. — 10 years ago

Very minerally Sangiovese with strong rusty, iron notes. 13 years old wine with dark cherry, plum and leather notes and plenty of vigor left. Homecoming celebration for Tammy. Perfect match with our home made bruschettas with home grown sun ripened tomatoes in perfect fall weather here in Idaho. — 4 years ago

Absolutely beautiful I drank lots of this when it was young and I am glad I saved some yo drink now. — 6 years ago
Great wine. $23 — 7 years ago
After 10 years this is absolutely fabulous. Throw the French or English kings of cheese at it, and it will match them nobly — 8 years ago
