Really good Oregon Pinot Noir. Dark cherry, oak, cranberry and tins if vanilla and some mineral on the finish. Low tannins but enough acid to pair great with food. Great QPR for under $15 at Binny’s. — 20 days ago
Medium Ruby with ripe berry fruit flavors, some tea, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, cranberry and raspberry with earthy herbs and citrus notes. Fine integrated tannins on medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Nice! — 11 days ago
Very similar to Vancouver Island Pinot noir. Lots of minerals and black cherry, with some pepper and a dry finish. — 18 days ago
Steve & Paula Black pursued a dream in 2003 and purchased a 110-acre vineyard located in the Red Hills of Dundee creating The Four Graces, named after their four daughters. Medium Ruby with surprisingly complex aromas of red fruits, herb and spice. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with tea and espresso notes adding a bit of pepper spice. Well balanced acidity with fine tannins, medium(+) length, ending with earthy notes. Nice value! — 14 days ago
2021 vintage. Tasted via Coravin. So. Much. Sweet. Oak. Much less concentration, mineral influence and grip than expected/recalled from previous vintages. Granted, tasting this 15 years too youthfully but, still, underwhelming. Honestly, a total waste of my time. Hurtz to say that as I consider this as one of, if not THE, best WA wine made. Just never rocked the boat, in a positive way, in any aspect. Would get totally blown out in a blind CA/WA/BDX Cab/Cab blend tasting in the $40-$50 range. Unimpressive. 5.29.24. — 22 days ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Medium Ruby with aromas of berries, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and black raspberry with notes of currants, pepper and cinnamon spice and earthy oak notes. Aged for 10 months on French oak, fine grainy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla oak character. Very nice. — 14 days ago
