So complex! Foraged pears in barrel for 2 years. Nose is funk, pears, a bit of citrus and forest. Palate is funky acid with more citrus, pears, tart apple. Label states it is oxidative and I get a bit of that but really good balance. — 5 years ago
One of the best. Sidra-style perry made in NY, but not faddish at all. John Reynolds, one of my favorite iconoclastic wine/cider-makers, has been doing it this way for decades. Micro production. Loads of VA but flat out delicious; vibrant, textured, rich and soulful. Do yourself a favor and find some of this if you like natural wine. I’d argue this kills almost any high-VA natural wine. Why? There’s a historical precedent for the style, the flavor profile makes sense, it’s clean and well-made. Great stuff. — 6 years ago

Pale white with brown tint. Aromatic cinnamon with a hint of pear in nose. Cinnamon with perry flavors, dry to off dry, Comice pear flavor profile dominant. Really nice product, on point. No wow factor, but as close to a Platonic ideal of its name (cinnamon pear cider) as you could hope for — 8 years ago
What you'd expect from an Aaron Burr pear cider - a kind of funky, yet refined earthiness with a bit of pear sourness. Oh and quite good of course. 30 cases produced, if you're counting. — 9 years ago
Very good pear cider. — 11 years ago
Pure pear. Dry, balanced, specific. — 4 years ago
My standard for perry is very high. This is very good. Perry is hard to execute and this is close to textbook. — 5 years ago
Really great perry. — 5 years ago
Oliver’s fine Perry at the hop #11.
definitely my first hopped Perry. Really well balanced. Beautiful fresh flavors of honeysuckle, some citrus, and obvious hops that add a nice grassy and funk note. — 6 years ago

2011 in 2017. Cider aged briney and tart-sweet freshness, moss. Elegant. — 9 years ago
So darn delicious with fantastic transparency of flavor. It's not just that it tastes like pears, but it feels like pear, has than crunch, and that bitter brown skin of pear and the wonderful ripeness. Not sweet. Still refreshing. Shoutout to Anna and her husband for making badass wine, cider and spirits! #cider #perry #biodynamic #colorado — 10 years ago
Awesome pear cider from Albemarle and Orange Co. VA! French style very dry and light. Had with Thanksgiving dinner. — 5 years ago
Wow! Maybe best perry I’ve ever had. More like perry champagne/wine. I get pears, chalk, some berries, cream, stone, and a bit of funk. So drinkable, so complex, so well balanced. Thank you redfield cider! Best cider bar in the world. — 5 years ago
Yummy! Dry! Fall in a bottle. — 6 years ago
Amazing! Funky awesomeness. — 7 years ago
I struggle with the sorbitol pears bring to the table, but this is as good as perry gets — 8 years ago
I'd bathe in this. Sublime. #perry — 9 years ago
