Tons of red fruit aromas, a medium weight and very structured body with round fruit and present tannins. A typical old world GSM per the boy here at Nouvelle Bar & Bottle. Cheers Louisville! — 3 years ago
One of the most incredible noses I’ve had in a long time. Crazy amount of tropical fruit to complement the deep amber color. Beautiful persistence on the palate with perfect acid to keep it all together. Really quite a wine and a pleasure to drink. — 6 years ago

Super tasty. Tart red fruits with good acidity and a slight funky edge. — 7 years ago

This 2002 trockenbeeredauslese is 9%. I don’t know how to rate this wine. It slightly oxidized in ac good way. Sweet and syrupy. Kinda heavy. Very intense flavors. Reminded me of upstate NY ice wine. The ice wine is similarly intense but lighter and fruitier. — 8 years ago
Great job. Karim named this particular 'old vines' after his daughter. Wine with a heart and a soul. — 9 months ago

Wednesday Wine Committee. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. Blind as usual.
One of the better South African wines I’ve had. Michael Rolland consulted. Someone stated it well...it was like a clean/less barnyard driven Bordeaux. Cherry vanilla pipe tobacco, bay leaf, old black cherries up front, with tartness and herbal twang at the finish. I guessed this was a Chilean Cab. — 7 years ago
Buttery and creamy. Exquisite
Love this for desert. TBA — 8 years ago
Held its own through the back half of a classic nouvelle cuisine menu at maison rostang. Excellent wine with hints of tobacco, spice and mineral despite the protein and fat heavy second half. — 9 years ago
Budgen’s of all places. I enjoyed it. Yes again! — 2 years ago
Easy drinking crowd pleaser. Served with appetizers and holiday salad with toasted almonds. — 7 years ago

nouvelle tentative, convaincu désormais après 5 ans de cave. Belle patine avec encore une superbe fraicheur. — 8 years ago
