Very refreshing and light. A great patio sipper. At Nouvelle. — 4 years ago
Wednesday Wine Committee. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. Blind as usual.
One of the better South African wines I’ve had. Michael Rolland consulted. Someone stated it well...it was like a clean/less barnyard driven Bordeaux. Cherry vanilla pipe tobacco, bay leaf, old black cherries up front, with tartness and herbal twang at the finish. I guessed this was a Chilean Cab. — 5 years ago
Tons of red fruit aromas, a medium weight and very structured body with round fruit and present tannins. A typical old world GSM per the boy here at Nouvelle Bar & Bottle. Cheers Louisville! — 9 months ago

One of the most incredible noses I’ve had in a long time. Crazy amount of tropical fruit to complement the deep amber color. Beautiful persistence on the palate with perfect acid to keep it all together. Really quite a wine and a pleasure to drink. — 4 years ago

Best, most accessible young version of this. Glorious aromas of game, wild olives, pungent violets and stunning blankberry fruit and flower. The nose is out of this world. 9.7 nose. Smells like Cornas via Chambolle. Wow. Palate is so juicy, nimble and elegant with excellent red fruited goodness. Wow the freshness and acidity are so present. Grainy but well formulated tannins. So linear. Finishes very mineral. So classic. The tannins are so elegant and rest on on one’s lower cheeks/jaw. Blown away. So supple yet so classic. — 2 months ago
