Blinded. Clearly Burg, natty, and 18’. No one got the appellation. Loved the vitality here - pure dark berry energy, almost crystalline if not for the fruit sweetness (though it’s not as sweet as the other 18’ Burg on the table), juicy acidity, long finish accented by smoke and spice, and some noticeable fine tannins that gave the wine such a lovely texture. First encounter with this negociant (cooper turned winemaker!) and I’m keen to find out more! — 2 days ago
Vintage 2019 | a favorite producer of mine. 100% Cabernet franc, vines 25 a 40 years old. Bio wine. It is so much fun to taste the difference between Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil and for example Saumur Champigny. Pop and pour. Frivolous raspberry bouquet, gains expression with aeration. It’s not the power that catches the eye, but finesse and elegance. Medium weight. Lovely now, paired with ostrich stew and mixed vegetables from the oven. Happy. — a day ago
Delicious. Tertiary flavors of forest floor mushroom earth. Full. Still got some edge to it. Beautiful. Rainy weather wine. — 10 days ago
Smooth medium depth hint of citrus - very nice finish. Really enjoyable — 6 days ago

Delicious - slightly yeasty, lemon mineral nose. Lemon oil, crushed oyster shell - fine bubbles. Great hot early summer #champagne - even better as it warms in the glass. — 3 days ago
