Showtime from the very first pour. Absolutely sensational aromatics with red cherry fruit, orange citrus, sandalwood, and roses. So much depth! On the palate, there is red fruits and porcini with a long and lovely, every so slightly saline finish. Gorgeous and now I want more…but this bottle was courtesy of a friend and I live in Nebraska where we don’t always get to have nice things. A fabulous pairing with duck frites and bison tartar. — 4 years ago

2006. We’ve had this in the cellar since a really fun bike ride across Missouri long ago. I was surprised how much dark rich fruit remained, how smooth the tannins were, and how great it paired with a grilled Nebraska steak! — 3 years ago

Popped and poured. Steely grey straw color in the glass with medium-viscosity. On the nose, minerals, green apples, peach, and pink flowers. On the palate, Granny Smith apple, lemon and an unbelievable amount of minerals. Medium+ acid and super long with a lovely texture. I’m suddenly craving a pool and a dozen oysters. Alas, it’s late November and I’m in Nebraska. — 3 years ago
