Hot damn! Pristine. Juicy, fruity, and mouth watering. Perfectly balanced. 8.5% alc. I found this for $12.50 at a shop in Kearney, Nebraska. Made out like a bandit. Prum me wrong.

What's really impressive about this spatlese is it seemed both richer and more acidic than the kabinett from the same year tasted before it. I've been shying away from spatlese fearing hey will be too sweet but I will ask next time to confirm.

Since the waiter brought this out too warm and kept putting it in the ice bucket, I have no photo. Instead I offer you a lovely photo of Lake Michigan. The wine was quite nice: honey, apple, very light, and relatively soft. 8% abv.
