Good table blend. Would pair well with spicy. — 5 years ago
Always a fan of Mrs Barrett's work and this is good. But, I agree, the price is over the top — 5 years ago
What a pleasant surprise, had this to kick off a friends retirement, and 4th. of July weekend, what a pleasant surprise, one bottle turned into two! What a lovely expression of Champagne, it was almost as beautiful as the ladies we were celebrating with, class, refined, soft, & elegant! I usually discount Dom, but it I was like the lady in the corner with the black dress & grey mikimoto pearls just inviting you to take another glance / Taste! Plus the Mrs. is still speaking of it. — 6 years ago
Cherry, blackberry, plum, licorice, garrigue. Very nice nose. The palate is well made and shows some nice spice (black pepper), blackberry and cherry, a good width and some matter on the side, a vivid mouthfeel with a grip, some light tannins that caress before a long finish with black fruits and licorice in retro. Quite good indeed! We had it along a great moussaka made by Mrs M. and it was great. — 3 years ago

Juicy aromas of plum and cherry...and a little spice.
Drinks nicely with juicy flavors of dark berries, cherry and oaky-spice. Lingers on the palate a bit and finishes with some spice. — 4 years ago
The Mrs. really likes this one, especially when she learned the cost. (Note: Her favorite White is Bordeaux Blanc, and there are plenty of similarities here). Classic aromas of hay, lemon juice, crushed rock and cat pee. More mouth feel and layers than expected - perhaps from lees aging - bright acid and underripe circus with pithy notes. Lemon and lime. Fresh. Feels like spring time. — 5 years ago

It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Deep purple/ inky in color with a short purple rim.
Strong nose of black fruits, cedar, vanilla, licorice, light earth, herbs, spices, tobacco, chocolates, mocha, light perfume, cola and peppercorn.
Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate and very fruity, with black plums, black currants, blackberries, dark chocolates, coffee, cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, light earth, herbs, peppercorn and tobacco leaf.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is already very approachable and good right out of the bottle. Nicely balanced with a beautiful nose.
Complex and fruit forward. Rich and extracted. Elegant with a nice mouthfeel.
Better after a couple of hours of airtime, when more earth notes show up to compliment the fruits.
I've had a few vintages of this wine, and it is very consistent. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
A good wine to pair with a big piece of steak, but also a nice sipping wine.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
14% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
