One of the reasons I keep coming back to Chef Norman's 1921 in Mount Dora is for their interesting wine collection. One of the partners has been generously bringing in special bottles from his private collection. This one was beautifully aged and enjoyed by our guests. — 8 years ago
This and the 08' Ridge Cab were amazing. Happy Birthday to me. — 11 years ago
Monthly WTF wine group. Special event this month as Ben provided all ‘80s Napa cabs. A few of us chipped in and provided some whites/bubbly.
Tied for wine of the flight. The fruit here was much more dense and full. Acidity wasn’t as in tact as the Pine Ridge, but what a flavor packed finish of black cherry, strawberry and clay. — 6 years ago
Happy New Year!
Maybe the Michel Arnould old vines powerhouse is too serious for a lighthearted celebration, but it was just right for father and son wine geeks having New Years dinner alone together for the first time since 1999.

This Santa Cruz Mountains AVA trip in San Jose was so much fun. We got really lucky and booked both Ridge and Mount Eden on the same day. In my opinion they are the two best representations of wine produced on this AVA. Unique dirt, grape growing, wine making and history. — 7 years ago
A fantastic Riesling, my simple every day refreshment. 2012 vintage but not showing the age, still amazingly fresh with stunning acidity.#riesling #clarevalley #ladolcevita — 10 years ago

I still prefer Mount Eden Estate...but this is same calibre. — 5 years ago
