New years eve 2022 compliments of Edel and Mark — a month ago
My bottle was corked, but I could tell that the wine underneath would have been excellent otherwise. Smooth and elegant, even if dominated by cork fungus in flavor. — 2 months ago
Final holiday season bottle. Our last bottle of the 97. What a wine. This bottle was probably slightly below the one we had last year but obviously still such a treat. Only 12.9% - love it! Cork broke but the Durand saved it. Dark fruit aromatics are off the charts. Doesn’t have the stinky leather of a top Bordeaux, but still obviously in the same family. Wonderful pairing with some tenderloin with a mushroom sauce. Finish is very long and though it doesn’t have the refreshing quality of the last bottle we had still delicious.
Pulled a bottle of 09 as well and need to decide when to drink it. — a month ago
Good Italian Pinot Noir we picked up at Costco in Denver. Dry red fruits, nice color, nice body. Slightly chewy tannins, but soft. — a month ago

impressive Garganega here, sort of Reserve style Soave leaning towards Turbiano - bit of age fattened up nicely just oozing minerals, saline, shells, crunchy rocks alongside ripe citrus. Tangy juicy acidity, strong backbone, this was rich & deep. $36 retail is a bit steep - glad I caught this on closeout. — 21 days ago
