Very delicate and balanced wine, with a strong personality. Subtle notes of pomegranate, grass and citrus, well balanced acidity and sweetness. It could be cellared for 1-4 years, perfectly enjoyable now. — 11 days ago
Lemon, slate, white pepper, and pear. Creamy and rich. Good pairing for a rich white sauce. — 2 days ago
The best Amarone I have ever had! Blend of Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina. Dark ruby color with a hint of red around the rim. Lovely aromas of black fruit, violets, baking spices, and cocoa. Full pallet of dried fig, black plums, black tea, and herbs. Earth and mineral notes on the very long finish. Creamy texture. Tannins are a bit chewy but not over top. Everything about this wine is totally in harmony and no one flavor dominates. Unbelievable! Thank you for sharing this one Kasey and Petey! — 7 days ago
My first foray into Mexican wine - it was more sauv like than I expected Ted, round mouth feel, simple finish, soft fruit — 7 days ago
The 2012 Monte Bello has had time to open and develop and it’s now perfect for drinking. It can still hold good for another 10 or more years, but it’s reached it’s prime. Plenty of aroma and flavor, with plum and fig dominating, flavors from the cask (mostly wood and subtle smoke) and some black fruit. A delicious wine, very expensive but still worth the price. — a day ago

N: smashed strawberries, tobacco, licorice, mascarello cherries, dirt,
P: Nice tannic grip, Black cherries, lots of earth, a buoyant frame, definitely concrete and old fourdes. I’m so glad to have found this. As Louis/Dressner says, if you know all the grapes they grow, you’re probably a master of wine. — 6 days ago
