Tasty and refreshing — 4 years ago
#garnachatintorera #alicantebouschet I’m stoked because I tasted it blind and thought this is Tintorera! And I was right. Deep color. With Tintorera I’m starting to understand the vibe. It’s Syrah color and aromas (savoury, spicy and peppery) with the richness and juiciness of Garnacha Tinta. This is a Basque winery that I believe just buys bulk and commercializes their wines, or at least this series of wines. More or less 6€ a bottle in #Spain its a killer deal of a wine. I personally am not a fan of cartoon like labels. — 4 years ago
Hard to believe I’m the first one! I am really enjoying this Malbec. I don’t know all the correct terms, but not oaky in the least; tart but not too tart; and easy to drink! — 3 years ago
always so food friendly & good. slighty natty, better day 2. — 4 years ago
Almost all Garnacha with small amounts of Carignan & Grenache Blanc. For me, Grenache heavy wines show best when they pick up weight with air. This remains nimble & finessed, yet shows good power & structure on the raspberry & herbal palate. Love what’s happening in Spain these days. — 4 years ago
That’s a good wine — 3 years ago
Light and refreshing with good depth of flavor — 4 years ago
Perfumed, Pinot-like Gredos Garnacha from a low-yield, long abandoned vineyard on mainly granitic soils in Cadalso de los Vidrios, at approximately 2,700 ft above sea level. Like other producers in the are, grapes underwent whole-cluster fermentation (con raspón). Aged for 12 months in used 300 liter barrels. Light ruby color, fragrant (strawberries, floral) and elegant — 5 years ago

Crisp acidity and light bodied. Strong cherry flavor but it lacks some backbone. Great light wine. — 2 years ago
