Cherries, herbs delicious — 4 years ago
Hard to believe I’m the first one! I am really enjoying this Malbec. I don’t know all the correct terms, but not oaky in the least; tart but not too tart; and easy to drink! — 3 years ago
#garnachatintorera #alicantebouschet I’m stoked because I tasted it blind and thought this is Tintorera! And I was right. Deep color. With Tintorera I’m starting to understand the vibe. It’s Syrah color and aromas (savoury, spicy and peppery) with the richness and juiciness of Garnacha Tinta. This is a Basque winery that I believe just buys bulk and commercializes their wines, or at least this series of wines. More or less 6€ a bottle in #Spain its a killer deal of a wine. I personally am not a fan of cartoon like labels. — 5 years ago
Blinded, difficult to distinguish from Barossa Valley; I guess.
Great taste! — 10 months ago
Only red we had paired w Basque tapas & what a pairing. It’s a blend from Outside Madrid- syrah, garnacha, carinena & morenillo , it all hangs together in a loose, fresh style. Not too far removed from a Cru Beaujo. Dark red fruits, surprisingly long & a bit of grip. A ‘ villages level’ from the Spanish version of the Gang of Four. An easy wine easy to like. — 3 years ago

velvety yet funky, medium ish syrah with notes of plum and dark cherry. it lingers on the tongue.
i had it with a fatty, sweet glazed pork chop. the richness cut right through the fat - fantastic
