Had with a very spicy chicken vindaloo on a very hot midsummer eve in Baltimore and it was perfect! Highly recommend as a fun and lightly bubbly match but great on its own too — 4 years ago
Man I love me some midsummer Muscadet. This bright crisp one hit the spot. Queue up the yacht rock and pop the cork! — 4 years ago
Used a little to poach the salmon, drank the rest while watching Midsummer Night’s Dream. Great choice, both the wine and the show. — 2 years ago
Sweeter than expected, very light- great for midsummer — 4 years ago
From a backwater in the mosel. A whole 6 miles from jj prum. One of the great vineyards in the mosel at half the price of prum. An insane wine. Needs an overnight open in the fridge to come alive.
Nose is perfect dried peaches. Some perfect. fresh peach. Some mosel age. Like a hint of petrol peach perfume. A touch of creaminess and confectionary sugar. Gorgeous. So elegant.
Palate is mineral. Dried peach extract. Perfect midsummer peach. Mineral spine. Elite deliciousness.
A week in you get that aged mosel toasty richness. Man. A unique experience.
Bought from fass selections.

We had an outstanding tasting at the winery's tasting bar in their air conditioned paradise of midsummer a month ago... Now back at home, we're getting a chance to taste these again... On the nose, this is dusty cherry... That's about it, but in a good way... On the palate, there's more... Big cherry to be sure... A wee blackberry tinge? Warm clay? Some acid here, but I keep coming back to clay, but maybe more as a visual... I don't get much if any green this vintage... The finish is medium-long and satisfying... Great pairing for our steak, chanterelles, and roast potatoes... — 3 months ago
